How to Play

You're a sea-faring explorer looking for a new land to settle. You start the game having just landed on an unexplored island. Start by looking for a good place to start a new village. Small villages just need lots of food, so your first village should have plenty of open land near it. Later, once your village gets larger, the residents will start to need more than just food. You'll need to gather raw materials from the mountains and build factories to produce manufactured goods. Once you have more than one village, you can connect them with roads. Cities that are connected by roads can trade with each other. This lets you have a mining camp in the mountains that can supply raw materials to cities elsewhere on the island (and of course it lets the mining camp import food from the fertile low-lands).

A note on logins: I'm not going to require logging in to play once the game is done, but for now it makes my life a lot easier right now to require logins. So, for now you'll need to log in with a Google account before you can play.
